The story

Born in Massachusetts. Raised on Lansdowne Street.

Abby Cummings is a Massachusetts-born drag entertainer who got her start in 2006 at Avalon, the legendary Boston nightclub on Lansdowne Street. That is where she built her signature blend of comedy, glamour and just the right amount of chaos.

Her heels have since taken her to stages across New England and beyond, with appearances in Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. In 2013 she took the microphone as emcee of the Boston Pride Festival, working the stage for more than 30,000 attendees.

The Provincetown years

Abby first performed in Provincetown from 2011 to 2013 as part of the original cast of The Anita Cocktail Variety Hour. She came back in 2021 to co-revive the show at the Post Office Cabaret, and stayed four years: starring in a three-night-a-week variety show, hosting karaoke, bingo and nightclub events, headlining weekend drag brunches, and taking roles in scripted stage productions like The Real Housewives of Provincetown at the Crown & Anchor.

When she left in 2024, her friends threw her a roast at the Post Office Cabaret, and Provincetown Magazine put her on the cover.

Back in Boston

Now based in Boston, Abby lip syncs for her life (and sings live when the moment calls for it), hosts anything with a microphone, from karaoke to galas, performs at drag brunches and private events, and officiates weddings with the right mix of sincerity and sass. She works events throughout Massachusetts and New England.
